What are the ingredients of your products?

Is there THC in your products?

Our products are formulated with Full-spectrum Hemp Extract which are made from the entire hemp plant. It’s important to know that all Hemp plants contain trace amounts of THC.

Full-spectrum oils are the truest representation of the hemp plant, and the most therapeutic. Our products contain 0.3% or less (by law) tetrahydrocannabinol THC.

Will Marley's Medicinals products get my dog “high”?

Our products contain 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or less—not enough to get your pet "high". Our products are 100% natural and non-toxic.

Are Marley's Medicinals products legal?

Yes. Hemp is federally legal and can be shipped to all 50 states.

Can I give my pet CBD products if they are on other drugs?

Currently, there is very little clinical research showing how CBD interacts with other drugs. That being said, the safety of CBD has been acknowledged by major health agencies, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), showing that it’s well-tolerated by animals and rarely produces any dangerous side effects.

While we can't offer any veterinarian medical advice, we do recommend leaving a gap of between 2-3 hours between administering CBD with other drugs.

It's a good idea to check with your veterinarian before you start your dog on any new supplements, especially if your pet is already on prescription medications.

Are there any known side effects of taking Marley's Medicinals products?

There is unfortunately little research that has been done on the side effects of CBD in pets. CBD is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. The only known side effect may be increased drowsiness.

What about cats?

Absolutely! Cat's have an endocannabinoid system too and may benefit from a regular CBD regimen. All of our products can be used on cats!

How do I give my pet CBD oil?

There are several different ways you can administer CBD oil to your pet. The best and most effective way for your dog to absorb the oil is to give it to them orally. Use the dropper and apply the CBD oil directly in their mouth. This allows for the fastest absorption straight into the bloodstream.

Despite the delicious flavor of our bacon flavored CBD tincture, some dogs are not crazy about being fed from a dropper. You can also add the CBD oil to their food. Just add the oil directly to their food, mix it in, and feed your dog as usual. This method will slow the absorption down because they will have to digest it first.

Another option is to add the CBD oil to a treat or peanut butter. As long as you give your pet the same total amount of CBD daily, you can be flexible about how you give it to them.

How long does it take CBD to work?

CBD can take between 30-60 minutes to start working. CBD oil that is given orally will take effect faster than CBD oil given on food or in treats.

What is the proper CBD dosage suggestions for my pets?

Determining the correct dose for your pet is dependent on several different factors including weight, age, and activity level.

Most pet parents will need to play around with the dosage given until the desired result is achieved. Generally speaking, we use a weight scale to recommend an average dose.

• For pets under 25 LBS, we recommend 5mg of CBD per day.
• Pets 25-50 LBS, .10mg of CBD per day.
• Pets between 50-100 LBS should take 20mg of CBD per day.
• And pet's over 100 LBS would receive 30mg of CBD per day
